Physiotherapy

Everything that takes place human beings in their entirety – thoughts, feelings, their  metabolism and mobility – is movement.

Physiotherapy is a form of therapy that focuses primarily on the musculoskeletal system. It can have a positive impact on the consequences of injuries, back- or headaches, bad posture and benefit post-operative rehabilitation. The musculoskeletal system is a system that is an integral part of the human being. However, as physiotherapy views the musculoskeletal system as a gateway to the whole human being, it can also reach other areas. Physiotherapy is also applied preventatively.

When I apply classical physiotherapy, I treat pain and impairments of the musculoskeletal system in the areas of rheumatology, orthopaedics and surgery.

The aim is to relieve and eliminate pain and restore the musculoskeletal system’s function as pain-free as possible. To do so, I apply passive techniques (including manual therapy, fascial techniques, massage, taping and much more) as well as active techniques (such as various personalised exercises, improvement of ergonomics, perception of the body and much more).
